Japanese sculptor cashes in chips
First Photo: Five ice sculptors from Maui and Japan squared off Sunday in the International Ice Sculpting Exhibition at Lahaina Cannery Mall. Sculptors had 90 minutes to complete their pieces, which were on display throughout the mall. Mitsuyuki Koya of Japan took first and won $1,000, while fellow countryman Kenji Kagei (pictured) placed second. Dale Zarrella of Kihei finished third.
