Suspect sought in child-sex case
The FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of sexually exploiting a child.
Images and videos of the unidentified man, who is being referred to as John Doe 27, show him being photographed while engaging in sexually explicit activities with a child, according to the FBI. The images were first recorded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in April and are still being circulated in numerous child pornography forums across the Internet.
Enhanced photos of the man contain several clues that may assist in identifying him, the FBI said. The subject and the victim are shown in a residence with a distinct plaid chair, male pattern baldness is seen on the back of the man’s head, and a ring is on the man’s right ring finger. Based on audio that can be heard from the video, it is believed that the man may have referred to himself as “Jimmy.”
No specific details link the suspect to a particular state or region of the United States, and his identity and whereabouts are unknown.
The suspect appears to be Caucasian, possibly in his 40s or 50s, with dark hair and dark eyes.
Photographs and informational posters depicting the suspect can be found at the FBI website www.fbi.gov/wanted/ecap/unknown-individual-1/view.
