UH presidential selection panel to visit UH-Maui College

The University of Hawaii Board of Regents Presidential Selection Committee will be at the University of Hawaii Maui College at 2 p.m. Wednesday to take comment from the public on qualities they would like to see in the next UH president.

The panel has been formed to find a replacement for M.R.C. Greenwood, who officially retired in September. When she made the announcement in May, Greenwood said that her retirement was “personal, health-related and family-oriented.”

Members of the selection committee will be soliciting feedback on what type of person is favored and what skill set is needed in the next university president.

The meeting will be held at UH-MC Laulima 105.
