Here comes a new Maui judge

Poelman, who will be serving as a Family Court judge, has been working as a per diem judge for the past eight years. He has been practicing law in Hawaii since 1991. Recktenwald said Poelman brought a wealth of experience to the bench. “Family Court has a profound impact on our community as a whole,” Recktenwald said. “We have a great team in the 2nd Circuit Court, and Judge Poelman will be a great addition to that team.”
