Event aims to make life easier for disabled
First Photo: Ka Lima O Maui Program Director Keri Pasion explains the services and job opportunities her agency provides while speaking with Department of Education social worker Marcie Ventura during last week’s sixth annual “The Big M.A.C., High School Transition Event for Students with Special Needs Planning for Post-High School-Living” at the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center in Wailuku. Also tending the booth with Pasion is Ka Lima Adult Day Health Manager Leanne Tsubaki. The disability resource/employment fair event provided students with opportunities ranging from jobs to learning how to open a bank account.
