Makawao woman reported missing

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a pregnant 27-year-old Makawao woman who was last seen Sunday night at her sister’s residence in Haiku.

Carly Joann Scott is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds with red shoulder-length hair and green eyes.

Her mother reported her missing Monday night after she didn’t hear from Scott and couldn’t find her at her residence, police said. Scott was last seen at about 8 p.m. Sunday at her sister’s residence.

Scott’s mother told police she is five months pregnant and that it was unusual for her to leave without telling anyone.

Scott was last seen in her silver 1997 Toyota 4Runner with Hawaii license plates MDE889. The vehicle has a silver skull in the front grille.

Anyone who sees Scott or who has information on her whereabouts is asked to call police at 244-6400.

Police said Scott’s disappearance is not related to that of Moreira “Mo” Monsalve, 46, who was last seen Jan. 12 at her ex-boyfriend’s residence in Wailuku.
