Shoes a good fit for artist, designer
First Photo: Artist and shoe designer Teri Edmonds tears the sole off a customer’s boot before putting a new one on Wednesday morning at her Wailuku store, If The Shoe Fits. Edmonds said that when she bought Tester’s Shoe Repair on Market Street, it included all of the shop’s equipment and machines. She said Terry Tester trained her in the art of shoe repair for two years and that has become one of the services she offers customers. “When I’m not repairing shoes, I’m making shoes,” she said. Edmonds has her own shoe line, Hot Biskit. She said she specializes in creating footwear for women with big or hard-to-fit feet. She also carries diabetic footwear.
