Designer creations to be on display

(Second photo) Isabella displays her one-of-a-kind necklace. The theme of the summer art camp this week is “The Gift of Many Colors: Fiber, Fashion and Costumes,” but Tuesday afternoon it was all about the bling. “I like making my own style,” Isabella said. “I like sparkly and a lot of crystals and rocks.” A Youth Art Exhibition highlighting pieces from the series of weeklong art camps is scheduled to be on display in the Hui No’eau Gallery from Monday to Aug. 7. A Family Day is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 2. For more information, go to huinoeau.com.
