It all begins with the mangoes

Ajee Guerrero slices green mangoes at the fruit stand at Yee’s Orchard on Thursday afternoon in Kihei. Guerrero said the slices would be boiled in vinegar and maybe one or two secret ingredients to make the stand’s pickled mango. Besides working part time at Yee’s, Guerrero said that he has worked at the Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui since 1993.
