Victoria’s Secret opens on Maui
FIRST PHOTO: Customers waiting for the doors to open at Victoria’s Secret on its opening day at the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center line up all the way to Sears on Friday morning. First in line was Wailuku’s Suzie Quipotla, who said she took her position at 6:30 a.m. Quipotla said she is a VIP member of the chain and was happy to see a location finally open on Maui. “We’ve been waiting a long time,” she said. “Now I get to use my (VIP) card here at home.”
SECOND PHOTO: The store opened its doors for shoppers at 9:30 a.m. Friday. The outlet, with more than 8,000 square feet, is the first Victoria’s Secret on the Neighbor Islands. The store also includes the PINK concept, which is tailored to college-age women and features its own line of lounge and athletic wear and more of a sporty lingerie line than Victoria’s Secret.
