Hana Steel to host platform discussion
Maui County Council candidate Hana Steel will host a meet-and-greet platform discussion event from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday outside Whole Foods Market at the Maui Mall in Kahului.
The discussion topic will be: Why the community should be allowed to vote on a county manager form of government.
Steel is one of five candidates seeking the council’s Wailuku-Waihee-Waikapu residency seat, which is being vacated by Council Member Mike Victorino because of term limits.
