Kihei subdivision adds 16 residences

Sixteen new residences have been added to the active sales inventory in the Alexander & Baldwin Kamalani Subdivision in north Kihei, according to an announcement.

The project’s first homes are expected to completed by fall, it says.

Sales are ongoing for about four dozen two- and three-bedroom condominiums and townhouses in the project’s first increment. Project plans call for building 600 units in multiple increments and phases. The development includes parks and other recreational amenities, linked by a bicycle track, pedestrian walkways and common-area landscaping.

Sale prices start at $315,000.

The project has had “a steady stream of interested buyers,” according to Steve Baker, Realtor broker of KW Island Living.

There’s an open house, weather permitting, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays at the project site near the intersection of Piilani Highway and Kaiwahine Street. People attending the open house should wear covered shoes and long pants.
