Cannabis conference to be held in January
The Maui News – The Maui Cannabis Conference will be held Jan. 6 and 7 at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa, according to an announcement from organizer Alpha Agency.
The conference will be promoting cannabis awareness and education regarding the health benefits of medical marijuana, as well as offering networking opportunities for cannabis industry leaders. This two-day event will feature a speaker series, exhibition and vending hall and mobile clinic, where guests can make an appointment with a physician to find out if they qualify for a state medical cannabis license.
State Sen. Roz Baker is scheduled to be the keynote speaker. Other scheduled speakers include cannabis patent attorney Neil Jujeja and Jason King, the author of “The Cannabible.”
The Maui Cannabis Conference is open to the public, and a medical cannabis license will not be required for entrance.
