HAL to waive change fees for Irma
Hawaiian Airlines will waive reservation change fees for customers traveling on Hawaiian Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines’ code-share flights to, from or via Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and Orlando international airports in Florida through Sept. 17 due to the threat of Hurricane Irma.
The change fee waiver applies to affected customers subject to the following conditions:
• Tickets were issued on or before Thursday.
• Affected flights were originally scheduled for travel on or before Sept. 17.
• Changes must be rebooked and ticketed for new flights on or before Sept. 19.
For changes made to flights on or before Sept. 19, any resulting difference in fares will be waived provided the change is made to same class of service and there is no change in origin and destination.
Normal refund rules will apply.
Customers needing assistance should call Hawaiian Airlines’ reservations desk at the toll-free number (800) 367-5320. Travelers also are advised to continue to monitor Hawaiian Airlines’ website at www.hawaiianairlines.com/alerts/hurricane-irma for updates on status of flights this week.
