Homeless in Kihei is subject of talk

A presentation on homeless people in Kihei will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Malcolm Center on the Maui Economic Development Board’s campus at 1305 N. Holopono St., Suite 1 in Kihei.

The presentation will be conducted by Ka Hale A Ke Ola Homeless Resource Centers and The Family Life Center. It will be followed by a discussion facilitated by the office of Maui County Council Member Kelly King, who holds the South Maui residency seat.

Input will be sought from the community and others regarding possible expansion of services for homeless people in Kihei.
