Earlier in the day, host Chaminade defeated California 96-72 for its first win in the collegiate basketball tournament in five years.

Attendees at the Salvation Army Thanksgiving event were served sous vide turkey with traditional gravy, homemade cranberry sauce, taro Portuguese sausage stuffing, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, candied yams with apples and pecans, sauteed fresh vegetables, tomato cucumber salad and a slice of pumpkin pie.
