Close to 600 servings of shave ice were handed out between noon and 5 p.m. at the Maui Lani location as part of the company’s Kama’aina Appreciation Day, Ululani’s said via Instagram message. More than 500 customers customized their shave ice with free add-ons, including ice cream, mochi, sweetened condensed milk, toasted coconut, azuki beans, li hing mui drizzle and haupia cream, according to Ululani’s.
