Maui residents sought for survey
Two University of Hawaii at Manoa professors are working on a “Recreation Activities in Hawaii” project and are seeking Maui residents to take a survey on outdoor recreation preferences.
Professors Kirsten Oleson and Carlo Fezzi of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management at UH-Manoa are inviting Mauians to take a survey that should take 5 to 15 minutes to complete.
The study doesn’t collect personal identifying information; participants remain anonymous and responses will be kept confidential.
Any personally identifiable information provided will be dissociated from responses in any reports of the data.
Oleson and Fezzi hope the results will lead to a better understanding of the economic impact of environmental changes and be used to inform future environmental policy on Maui.
The survey can be accessed at manoahawaiiss.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1XqOveobKeoeK6F.
