There’s nothing like a Maui snowball fight
Snowballs fly during a frolicking snowball fight Friday afternoon at Waipuilani Park in Kihei. The cloth fiber balls carry the same gentle impact as real snowballs packed with powdery snow. It doesn’t hurt to get hit by one, which makes it all the more fun. Mom Jaime Kahoohanohano (right) said she bought the batch of snowballs at a Maui store and when she saw how much fun they were, bought more online. “We just like to come out here, and they enjoy playing snowballs,” she said. “People always seem to come and join us.” Mom is joined by (from right) daughter Layla Kahoohanohano, 6, Adam Dahlgren, 5, and son Parker Kahoohanohano, 8.
