Tree sales benefit KKHS Class of 2018

King Kekaulike High School senior Kamryn Sagawinit trims the base of a noble fir Christmas tree while waiting for customers Saturday afternoon at the Upcountry school. Sagawinit, who currently serves as manager for the school’s girls soccer team, is selling the trees for her senior project and said that profits will be spent on the Class of 2018’s graduation in the spring. “Anything that we need to make graduation happen,” she said. Helping her with the enterprise are her parents, Maury and Ululani Sagawinit. They bought 300 trees from an Oregon farm and were down to the last 50 Saturday.
