Maui Orchid Society Sergeant at Arms Jerome Neizman (left) gives Kihei’s Michelle Assis tips on growing Vanda orchids after she purchased a beauty at the society’s annual Valentine’s Day Show at the Maui Mall earlier this month. Neizman and wife, Karen, own Aloha Aina Orchids in Pukalani. The Neizmans won the show’s Grand Champion ribbon for their oversized Dendrobium Kuniko “Pukalani Profusion.”
