Dui Sentences

THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor occurred during the period of June 5 to 8. The listings include the offender’s name, age, residence and charges. First offenders undergo a 14-hour alcohol abuse rehabilitation program, a substance abuse evaluation and a one-year license suspension with the ability to operate a vehicle if qualified for an ignition interlock device.

Wailuku District Court:

Jose Alvarado, 51, Wailuku; DUI, inattention to driving; $250 in fines, plus fees.

Rolando Dela Cruz Jr., 27, Waiehu; DUI; $1,000 fine, plus fees.

James Kawika Prest, 51, Hana; DUI; $150 fine, 72 hours of community service, plus fees, two-year license revocation.

Toby Rubbert, 37, Kennewick, Wash.; DUI; $150 fine, $437 in fees.

Rachel A. Ryan, 22, Kihei; DUI, lack of due care; $200 in fines, $444 in fees.

Jon Zeigler, 42, no local address; DUI, driving without a license, lack of due care; $300 in fines, $437 in fees.

Lahaina District Court:

Rebeca Altheide, 41, Napili; DUI, lack of due care, driving without a license; $300 in fines, $481 in fees.

Stacey Patricia Middleton, 44, Lahaina; DUI; $150 fine, $437 in fees.
