Vaccination forms for flu shots due Aug. 16
The Maui News
Nearly all Maui County public elementary and intermediate schools will be participating in the Stop Flu at School vaccination program.
The annual Stop Flu at School program provides free flu shots to children in kindergarten through grade 8 attending participating schools. Flu vaccination reduces the spread of flu and helps protect those at risk of serious illness, the Health Department said.
The vaccinations will occur from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7.
Vaccination consent forms are due by Aug. 16. Forms are being distributed to parents through student orientation or “back to school” packets on the first day of school.
