A public meeting to discuss proposed improvements to the Lanai Community Center will be held from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. Oct. 3 at the center in Lanai City.

Proposed conceptual designs for a new permitted kitchen will be discussed.

The design consultant for the project is Mitsunaga & Associates Inc. of Honolulu.
