MPD seeks help contacting families of 5 unclaimed deceased individuals

The Maui News – Maui police are seeking the public’s help in contacting the families of five deceased people at the department’s forensic facility.

The unclaimed individuals are:

• John Fischer, who died Aug. 12, 2017. Fischer was 5 feet 7 inches tall and 108 pounds, with gray hair and pale-colored eyes. He had tattoos of a peacock on his chest and a tribal tattoo on his right shoulder.

• John Doe, who died Sept. 13, 2017. He was 5 feet 10 inches tall and 135 pounds, with a shaved head and an indeterminate eye color due to decomposition.

• Timothy Tyler, also known as John Doe, who died March 18. He was 5 feet 8 inches tall and 135 pounds, with reddish-brown hair and an indeterminate eye color. He had Egyptian symbols and skull tattoos on his right arm, the face of a bearded man on his left arm, the face of a demon on his right chest, the Grim Reaper and “Wrath” on his abdomen, a mushroom on his right lower leg and a skull with flames on his left lower leg.

• Frank Mosley, who died March 29. He was 5 feet 10 inches tall and 125 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes.

• Jennifer Stenbeck, who died Sept. 14, 2016. She was 5 feet 6 inches tall and 120 pounds, with reddish-brown-blond hair and blue-gray eyes. She had Asian-style lettering tattooed on her upper back, a heart with “Mark” and “Noah” on her right arm, “I Love You Mark” on her left hip, a lady sitting on a crescent moon on her left lower leg and a peace sign on her right ankle.

Anyone with information should call 463-3833. If the bodies go unclaimed in a reasonable amount of time, they will be cremated.
