Mauians take part in nationwide protest

More than 100 Maui County residents and visitors protested Thursday evening outside of Queen Ka’ahumanu Center’s parking lot along Kaahumanu Avenue. The protests come just two days after congressional Democrats took back control of the U.S. House in midterm elections on a promise to investigate Donald Trump’s administration and the firing of Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
