Search on for missing Texas woman
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 34-year-old Texas woman whose cellphone was active in Central Maui this week.
Loan Huynh was reported missing from her residence in Texas on Nov. 14. On Sunday, her cellphone showed her in the Wailuku area, but the phone has since been shut off, police said. The last cell tower data from Monday and Tuesday show hits in the Kahului area, police reported.
According to family members, Huynh is known to frequent hostels or hang out with homeless people.
She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees her is asked to immediately call the Maui Police Department at 244-6400 or in an emergency, 911. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can call Maui Crime Stoppers at 242-6966.
Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of people responsible for felony crimes; the recovery of stolen property or seizure of illegal drugs in felony cases; or the capture of felony fugitives.
