First Photo: Shanisdee Santos, 4, impresses her mom, Chasidee, with her counting abilities while visiting the MEO Head Start table at last week’s Early Childhood Fair at the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center in Wailuku. Chasidee Santos said that they have just started looking at preschools. “She wants to go. She’s excited,” she said. The second annual event was sponsored by People Attentive to Children (PATCH), Kamehameha Schools, Tutu and Me Traveling Preschool and Maui Family Services. It featured 20 vendors offering a wide range of opportunities and information for parents interested in early childhood services in Maui County.
