Woman pulled from Kapalua Bay
A woman was taken to the hospital on Sunday after being pulled from Kapalua Bay, according to a fire official.
At 11:19 a.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to Kapalua Bay, where a 56-year-old woman had been pulled from the water by unknown witnesses, Assistant Chief Val Martin said. The woman was having trouble breathing while snorkeling. Firefighters from Napili arrived to find the victim oriented and breathing on shore.
As a precaution, the woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
