Pono Hawai‘i endorses Tina Wildberger
The Pono Hawai’i Initiative has endorsed Democrat Tina Wildberger for the 11th District House seat held by South Maui Rep. Kaniela Ing, who is running for Congress.
The initiative’s goal is to “activate and mobilize communities to improve the quality of life for the people of Hawaii through political action,” according to its website.
The candidate said she has taken an “outspoken stand on issues regarding education, affordable housing, minimum wage and environmental concerns like water resources.”
