Baker, Amato on ‘Insights’

State Sen. Roz Baker and Democratic challenger Terez Amato will be appearing tonight on PBS Hawaii’s “Insights.”

Their 30-minute forum is part of several candidate discussions in races statewide by PBS Hawaii tonight.

The Baker-Amato forum is set to begin at 8 p.m. They are seeking the 6th District seat, which covers West and South Maui.

Woodson announces six endorsements

State Rep. Justin Woodson announced receiving six endorsements recently.

They include the Hawaii Operating Engineers Local 3, University of Hawaii Professional Assembly, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1186, Maui Chamber of Commerce, Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association and the Building Industry Association of Hawaii.

Woodson’s District 9 includes Kahului, Puunene, old Sand Hills and Maui Lani.
