On The Campaign Trail

KCA forum to cover Kahului, Molokai

The Kihei Community Association will host a candidate forum and question-and-answer session for two Maui County Council races — the Kahului and Molokai residency seats — Tuesday evening at Stawasz Hall at St. Theresa Church in Kihei.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the forum will start at 6:30.

The candidates for the Kahului residency seat are Natalie “Tasha” Kama and Mayor Alan Arakawa; the candidates for the Molokai seat are Council Member Stacy Crivello and Keani Rawlins-Fernandez.

KCA President Mike Moran will moderate the event and ask the candidates a series of prepared questions based on input from the association membership.

Election Day is Nov. 6.

The association encourages event participants to bring nonperishable food donations or checks for the Maui Food Bank.
