EMERGE service set for March 23
God’s House will host a celebratory service, “EMERGE,” at 2 p.m. March 23 at Pu’u Kukui Elementary School, according to an announcement.
The service will be followed by light refreshments and fellowship.
In hosting its EMERGE service, God’s House seeks to invite Maui residents to be a part of its church family, as well as to establish its presence and involvement in the island community, according to the announcement.
“The EMERGE service is just our way of announcing to the island of Maui that we are here,” said God’s House lead pastor, Kris Miyake.
It is also a day of celebration, with the service changed from its usual 10 a.m. start time to accommodate friends and family from other churches.
God’s House was founded in 2013 by Pastors Kris and Stacey Miyake. It is a nondenominational church, characterized by its intense, modern worship and powerful preaching, according to the announcement.
The mission of God’s House is to “disciple people in to an authentic relationship with Christ by teaching them how to love God genuinely, to love each other unconditionally and to live obediently by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
