Buddhist master to teach in Paia
The Venerable Khenchen Lodro Donyo Rinpoche, a highly renowned and esteemed Tibetan Buddhist master in the Kagyu lineage, will arrive on Maui on June 16, according to an announcement from the Venerable Lama Gyaltsen and The Maui Tibetan Buddhist Dharma Center.
Rinpoche is traveling from Bokar Ngedon Chokar Ling Monastery in India, and Maui will be the first stop of his North American teaching tour.
He will begin a full weekend of teachings on the Buddhist path to enlightenment with a public talk at the dharma center in Paia at 6:30 p.m. June 16. Subsequent teachings will take place June 17, 18 and 19. Visit www.mauidharmacenter.com for further teaching times and topics.
