Fifth Sunday Mass in Kaupo

There will be a fifth Sunday of the month Mass celebration at St. Joseph Mission Church in Kaupo at noon Sunday.

The remote church is located between Mile Markers 33 and 34 on Piilani Highway — the road to Kaupo.

There will be a potluck meal and fellowship after Mass.

Pastor to teach class at school

Faith in Jesus Church Pastor Barbara Tengan will teach her first class at the Transformation School of Ministry in Wailuku. The subject of the class is personal evangelism.

Classes will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 6 with a potluck luncheon. The classes are held at Faith in Jesus Church, formerly known as Wailuku Door of Faith Church.

Introductory classes are free and then audit students pay $50 a semester. Degree students are $150 a semester, and graduates pay $30 a semester. Everyone is welcome.
