Administration penalizes, vilifies jobs creators

In response to the Feb. 20 letter titled “Shortage of housing and jobs creating a crisis”:

The letter writer wrote that she was having the hardest time in 50 years finding a job. No surprise there when we have an administration that vilifies and penalizes jobs creators.

The producers of the world are on strike.

Read “Atlas Shrugged” by Ayn Rand and you will understand what is happening and it will only get worse. Those of us who felt like we were appreciated for our contributions to the economy are tired of it. We don’t have to continue to create jobs, we can enjoy what we have and take life a little easier. Unfortunately, the middle class suffers.

Why don’t the representatives that Hawaii supports understand this? Could it be that, coming straight from the top, this administration is led by people with good intentions, most of whom have not held a real job or, more importantly, made a payroll or started a business? It is only going to get worse until the realization sets in that we cannot tax our way out of this situation.

“What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.” – Adrian Rogers

The problem now is that the people we are trying to take from have decided that enough is enough and the motivation to continue has waned. And Atlas has shrugged.
