Sequester is more evidence that term limits needed

Lot of fuss is being made about the sequester and how disaster will befall this nation when it was fully implemented.

Has anybody sat down with a calculator and figured out that when you remove the Defense Department part of the budget, the balance is less than 1.5 percent of the total budget?

Are our legislators so dumb that they cannot do what an ordinary homeowner could do with his own budget? With all the waste in government spending, it should not be hard to find $45 billion that can be removed.

I think it is well past the time for term limits on our legislators, perhaps two five-year terms, so they don’t spend half of their time campaigning and actually do what they are sent to Washington to do.
