State legislators can’t get their priorities right

What’s really important to our legislators? The Steven Tyler Act. If he had a body like Arnold Schwarzenegger would there be a Steven Tyler Act? Like Sen. Sam Slom said, we already have laws covering privacy and going on private property.

Legalizing marijuana, gambling, same-sex marriages are all important things that need to be at the top of the priority list. The people don’t get to vote on those things either. The legislators decide for us. It’s called career guarantees because that’s where campaign funding and votes come from.

What’s not important? Education, jobs, teacher contracts, family values, anti-drug campaigning, cultural traditional rights, gathering rights.

Next election, pay attention.
