Appointments to liquor panels kept in the family
I saw recently in the appointments made to the Liquor Commission and the Liquor Adjudication Board that the mayor (and I’m sure the director of the Department of Liquor Control) has kept everything in the family.
The new appointee to the commission is the son of the prior head of the department, and the appointee to the adjudication board is the former No. 2 in the Department of Liquor Control.
Obviously we don’t want to get any new blood in there – things might change if we did, and we wouldn’t want that now, would we?
