Don’t allow the possession of knives on airplanes

In March, the Transportation Security Administration released that it would be allowing small pocket knives on to aircraft starting on April 25. But, after the recent Boston bombing, the TSA postponed the clearance.

In my opinion, they shouldn’t let knives on board at all. The person traveling with it should just check it in instead of carrying it on board. Possession of knives aboard a plane could result in greater harm.

Someone could easily just take it out and stab one or more people. With only a few flight attendants on board, they are not able to be aware of what is happening in all parts of the aircraft. Someone can easily hurt another person with the knife.

These shouldn’t be allowed, not only for passengers but also for the airline agents, flight attendants and any person who works in the airport.
