Goodfellow Bros. responds quickly with solution

Having written a letter previously (Letters, July 14) critical of the Goodfellow Bros. road crew working the force main project on Honoapiilani Highway, I think it’s only fair to also give them credit for rectifying the issue of failing to timely open up both lanes by 3:30 p.m.

Not only has there been a major improvement in traffic flow this past week, I received a call from Mike Jackman, project manager for Goodfellow Bros., recently in which he apologized for the problem, assured me that it had been dealt with and invited me to contact him at any time should there be any problems in the future. He followed up with a letter with his business card attached.

Clearly, Goodfellow Bros. has earned its excellent reputation and continues to go the extra mile when made aware that there is room for improvement. Maui County is fortunate to have a company of their caliber stepping up whenever/wherever needed.
