People in power are out of touch with society
We keep hearing this talk of moving forward by those who are trying to be slick and get through loopholes and maneuver around ordinances.
There needs to be more questioning and more holding people accountable for their actions. It is obvious who is in charge of passing amendments, so why keep pushing the issue of letting people know they hold the power to pass a motion?
Sometimes tradition needs to be broken when it is causing excuses, especially formal conservative tradition.
Change is needed when people in power are out of touch with the society that surrounds them. The only one that holds the cards are the populace or the masses, not the self-appointed authority.
