Churches should stay out of gay marriage debate

The churches are hypocritical with their arguments against gay marriage. In fact, they really should stay out of it because gay sex and sexual abuse by their priests have been going on for years. Not even their most devoted can control themselves.

As far as the worry about same-sex couples getting into the schools? Too late. Go walk on the campus at Maui High and there are obvious same-sex couples holding hands and kissing.

Science has shown that being gay is not a choice. And gay people should be allowed to marry like any other couple.

The church should stay out of it or give us the right to stone the hypocrites in churches, like the cheating husbands and the gossiping wives. Let’s get Old Testament on them if they are going to selectively use quotes from the Bible to judge others.
