Marriage legislation set up to divide community

The issue of equal rights legislation is set up to divide us as a community. One side wants equal rights and they equate the other side must change the definition of marriage to suit them. How can anyone win?

If the Legislature decides in favor of the passage of the equal rights law as it is written now, it will become a Trojan horse to denigrate traditional marriage and open the doors to discrimination against Christians who hold to their beliefs.

If they don’t, those in favor of the equal rights law will feel they are discriminated against.

Both sides need to put up their arguments in the public forum, and that shouldn’t consist merely of arguments of hate and intolerance.

This is too important. Put it to a vote of the people.
