Respect God’s law and oppose same-sex marriage

Gov. Neil Abercrombie has called for a special legislative session to make gay marriage legal in Hawaii. The session is scheduled to begin Oct. 28.

I call on all Christians to oppose same-sex marriage and this special session by calling your legislators and the governor to give your opinion. Telephone numbers are listed in the phone book in the state government section.

God sees homosexual acts as sinful. We respect gay and lesbian people, however, who are living honest lives just as anyone else.

If same-sex marriage is passed in Hawaii, churches could be persecuted unless changes are made, according to Jonathan Durrett, Honolulu attorney for religious nonprofits.

If a country wants to be blessed, the government must respect the church, according to the Blessed Virgin Mary in a message around 1917 in Fatima, Portugal.

Our lady also said at Medjugorje in the 1980s that war is a punishment to mankind.

If same-sex marriage is passed, especially without religious exemptions, Hawaii could be punished if a world war breaks out.

God’s laws need to be respected. Let’s do the right thing and oppose same-sex marriage.
