Remind legislators that they work for the people

There were strong feelings on both sides of the gay marriage debate. Obviously, neither the governor nor the legislators paid any attention to the people. They should have allowed the people to vote on the issue and then accept the outcome, without the usual court challenge.

I believe that in their self-centered opinion of themselves they all felt that they know best.

At the next election, we should vote each and every one of them out of office. They need to understand that they work for us, not that we work for them.
