Temporary speed limit signs left in place too long

I notice that road construction workers are able to put up and take down hundreds of traffic cones every day but they can’t remove the six or eight temporary speed limit signs. So we drive at 30 mph all afternoon, all night and all weekend.

Of course, that doesn’t happen. Most of us, including the police, drive at much higher speeds.

This a great way to confuse the tourists and train the locals to ignore traffic laws.

How about this? Put a magnetic “4” over the “3,” or a black bag over the whole sign or lay the sign down. Then, there is Velcro. Do I have to do all the thinking here? How hard is it to unplug the big “Move Over” sign?
