Turtles on the shore should be left undisturbed

When you go to the beach you may see turtles on the shore. Turtles come onshore to sunbathe or to sleep. Sometimes people disrupt turtles by getting too close to them or touching them. I think that it is important to give these endangered animals their space.

By law, people are not supposed to feed, touch or approach turtles. There are many ways that we can stop disturbing turtles. The most important rule is: Do not touch the turtles. Try to keep your distance. If people want to take a picture of the turtles they should make sure their flash is off.

I think we need to let the turtles sunbathe or sleep onshore without being disturbed. Just the simplest things could help the turtles.
