Christmas is a time for giving back to others
Christmas is probably the most exciting time of the year for many families. Many people often forget about what Christmas really is. Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ and to give back to others. We may receive many presents or everything we wished for on our wish list. Just think, there are many people in the world who wake up and aren’t able to even open one present on Christmas morning.
Think of how it would be like to wake up on Christmas morning to no presents. When I think of Christmas, I always remember those children whose parents are not able to provide enough for their family and have to live their lives differently from the rest of us.
I am very glad that the Salvation Army and many other places created Angel Trees for less-fortunate families. I encourage people to take maybe 15 to 30 minutes out of their day to help brighten the lives of needy children.
I hope that many people will take into consideration that if they take part in the Angel Tree, many hearts can be warmed this Christmas, and we will definitely see smiles on faces on Christmas morning.
