Drivers oblivious to common occurrences on the highway

I can’t be the only one to notice that there is a significant percentage of our local drivers who appear oblivious to fact that it is raining or it is legally dusk and fail to put on their headlights.

Our streetlights have sensors that turn them on in such conditions, why don’t cars have the same sensors?

Along the same line, why don’t cars have sensors that tell you when and where you have a light defect? Another sensor could warn drivers that they are pressing their left foot on the brake pedal while accelerating.

Our drivers apparently require police intervention.
